You Did It Papa! - Ranu Agrawal
Perching on the couch makes me wonder if I'm a princess or a daddy's girl.
Or perhaps both?
I'm not going to separate the words. Because each word has its own set of emotions and powers. And I believe we should not be allowed to void or violate anyone's authority. Right?
Let's not talk about it right now!
Dad or Papa, whatever we call him, we all know deep down that he has a lot of energy that brings or concerted our confidence in some unique way all over the world.
He never shows, how much he loves,
Neither he pretended that he doesn't.
Then how on earth, he managed to perform such a wonderful role throughout his life without being complaining about anything?
I remember being like a blossoming bud in the house the other day, forced by relatives to learn how to feed your people.
Then he arrived.
"We'll learn how to cook," my Survivor reassured me.
That day I realised, I do too have my hero as my cronies have.
We cooked.
The sink with plates, the milk running down as a naughty lad, the peels of the vegetables sitting silently in every kitchen's corner.
The map of the Chapati describing the journey.
Above all, the conclusion was, "WE MADE IT."
Yes!! He showed me how to cook. Not only did he teach me how to cook, but also how to be human, how to treat a life, how to behave in front of less fortunate people, how to communicate with strangers, how to stand your opinions in front of people, and most importantly, how to be yourself no matter where you are, just and only be yourself.
